Design Consideration

At the early design stage, we explored several traditional architectural options for this custom home at  Botfield Avenue. The initial concepts featured classical symmetry, detailed cornices, and stone cladding with decorative moldings — evoking a timeless elegance.

However, as the design process evolved, the client expressed a clear preference for a modern aesthetic — emphasizing clean lines, larger glazed areas, and a minimal material palette.

The final design reflects this shift: a bold, contemporary façade combining stone and metal panels, expansive windows for natural light, and a restrained geometric composition.

This transformation from classic to modern demonstrates our flexible design approach — ensuring that each home is tailored to the client’s taste while maintaining architectural balance, proportion, and contextual sensitivity to the surrounding neighborhood.
