Architecture and Construction
The house is a queen of comfort, an intimate zone, an oasis with a garden.
But before you imagine the idyllic scenes, you should be aware that life in the house is preceded by the time-consuming process of its design and construction. Construction is the process of converting a design concept from a paper to a usable building. It starts with planning and financing. And continues until the project is built and ready for use. It takes place on location for a known client. Both the architect and construction manager are working closely with the building owner (investor).
Collaboration across multiple disciplines
The investor chooses the architect and determines the budget. Then describe to the architect details like - home style, type of house (ground floor, storey). He tells whether he wants flat or sloping roofs, how many rooms, does he want swimming pool etc. It is important to know how many people will live in the house. On the basis of these requirements, experts will design the organization, appearance and position of the house. The position and shape of the house is a combination of the investor's desire and the personal expression of the architect. The investor should make a project task describing all wishes and needs.
Construction requires collaboration across multiple disciplines. A project manager manages the job, while construction manager, construction engineer or architect supervises it. Those involved with the execution must consider zoning requirements, the environmental impact of the job, scheduling, budgeting, construction site safety, availability and transportation of building materials and logistics.
The role of Architect
The investor decides the stage of the construction he will engage the architect. Some investors choose architects only to obtain permits. Note that you build a house for yourself. So it is important to make it functional and aesthetic, externally and internally. The interior is a logical sequence of the whole design and construction process. It gives the final seal and personality to the house. You build a dream house to enjoy it. And for this reason, it is important that the architect is present throughout the construction phase.
